Family Fun !!!

Family Fun !!!

Westminster will hold it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19th at 1:00 pm. We will begin the day by gathering in the sanctuary to hear the Easter Story ( as told by our “Egg”strordinary Youth Group ). We will then have a short activity in the fellowship hall before releasing the masses on the hillside and watching as the kids “scramble” across the lawn in search of those brightly colored eggs.

After the eggs are gathered, those in attendance will be asked to turn in their empty eggs for an extra bag of candy and goodies for the kids before leaving.

There will be a separate area set up for those “tiny hunters” age 2 and under so that they can hunt at their own pace.

See you on Saturday !!Egg hunt

He Is Risen !!!

He Is Risen !!!

We hope you will make worship a part of your Easter Celebration this year. We have 2 options for Easter Worship this year. The youth – with the aid of the pastor and a few other adults – will host an Early worship service at 8 am.

Due to the weather forecast, the service will begin indoors. At the end of the service, the youth will process outside, with anyone who wishes joining them – as they place the new lily cross cover on the center cross on the church lawn. This time of worship will be followed by a breakfast of scrambled eggs & rolls, prepared by parents, teachers, etc. and served in the fellowship hall.

Our 10:30 worship hour will feature a sanctuary filled to the brim with wonderful music and beautiful floral tributes. The service planned is a wonderful way to celebrate the Resurrection. Children’s Church will be offered during the 10:30 am worship service for children age 3 – grade 2.

Renew – Review- Repent

Lent is …
Choosing to be filled with His spirit;
Choosing to love, to share, and to serve;
Choosing to stand tall in the shadow of the cross .

Weekly Words –
“My brothers, what good is it for someone to say that he has faith if his actions do not prove it? Can that faith save him? suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, “God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!” – if you don’t give them the necessities of life? so it is with faith; if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.”
