Bible School – 6 – 8 pm – August 4th – 7th

Only a couple more weeks until Bible School !!! Come learn about some great Bible Stories while enjoying some candy while we learn that GOD’S WORD IS SWEET and how WE CAN MAKE THE WORLD A SWEETER PLACE TOO !

Bible School has classes for children age 3 – those finishing 5th grade … we also have classes for adults this year. A light supper will be served for those who wish to eat together each evening from 5:30 – 6 pm. There is no cost for either attending Bible School … or for eating dinner … Pre-registration is not required but if you want to let us know you’re coming it helps with our last minute plans. Our Sunday School kids had a great time at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center last weekend. Thanks to a generous gift we were able to eat, hike, craft, laugh, and have a wonderful time amidst God’s beautiful creation.

The Easter Egg Hunt is over – and now work begins in earnest on the next event for the kids ! Mark your calendars now for Vacation Bible School. Bible School will be here at Westminster on August 4th – the 7th. We will have a light supper at 5:30 pm and then dive into “God’s Word is Sweet” – our Bible school program for this year beginning at 6 pm and running each night until 8:00. We’re going to be using the kids favorite candies to teach some familiar Bible Stories. There is no cost to attend and we have classes for children age 3 – those finishing 5th grade. Keep watching for more information. This is a co-operative effort between the Christian Education Committees from Westminster, Morningside Pres., Third Pres and Community Pres. Church in Lawton.
